About

Our design, with you in mine!

The best part of waking up, has nothing to do with Folgers; I love my family and above anything or anyone else; they come first. A little about me; married with one child (10 going on 30; a boy). Born and raised in our nations capital, love living life and experiencing new things. A hobby of mine-dancing.

My Mother raised me and my two brothers alone, but for some reason she pushed me through everything. I could not rest, unless I was resting for sleep apnea test, lol. She made sure what I needed I could have and she was my number one fan.

She built me American tough and I could never understand why she was so hard on me and not my brothers, however early 2013 I begin to understand. My oldest Brother passed away, my youngest Brother went to prison; for a while and then early 2014; my Mother passed away. Not only would I need to prepare everything, but my family went from a foursome to a one-some in less than two years. If she didn't stick on me and make sure I understood values, work ethic and family importance; I would have broken down, long time ago. She gave me my first journal and to release my five stages of grief; I found my words again.

I am! Professionally I write; currently working on my memoirs; 27 Years of Purgatory. Have a personal blog online, which I host weekly and I am the Director of a non-profit organization, in Washington, DC.

For five years, work with Military One Source, a private company on a Military contract. Provide credentialing services for their EAP network. Later work, three years with low-income families, through a local government Department of Human Services and two years of retail/sales management experience with a large grocery retailer.

Currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Communication; in 2013 received my Associates Degree in Business Management and I have over 14 years of data entry, customer service and office management. I am a Mother, wife and I love to love.
