Work Terms
Hours of Operation:
As a freelancer on Guru, I maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones and client needs. While I'm open to working on projects at any time, my standard hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (your timezone). Please note that I may not be available on weekends and major holidays, but I will do my best to respond promptly during my active hours.
Payment Terms:
For fixed-price projects, I require a 50% payment before starting the work. The remaining 50% will be due upon project completion and client approval. For hourly projects, I log accurate time using Guru's time tracking tool and request weekly or bi-weekly payments, depending on the agreement. All payments should be made through Guru's secure payment system.
Preferred Communication Style:
Clear and efficient communication is crucial for successful collaboration. On Guru, I prefer using the platform's messaging system for initial project discussions and ongoing communication. This helps us keep track of all project-related conversations and ensures a seamless workflow. For urgent matters or in-depth discussions, I'm also available for scheduled voice or video calls via Guru's integrated communication tools.
Response Time:
I understand the importance of timely communication. As such, I strive to respond to messages and project inquiries within 24 hours during weekdays. If there are any expected delays due to unforeseen circumstances, I will inform the client in advance.
