SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION SKILLS IN LINUX/VMWare :-
1)Responsible for Installation, configuration,management and maintenance over linux systems.
2)Remote administration of linux server using ssh,vnc viewer.
3)Package Management using apt-get, RPM & YUM, Disk Management: Partition tools like fdisk,parted etc.
4)Managing different File Servers like NFS,FTP and SAMBA servers.
5)Configuration Squid proxy server with access control list for internet.
6)Configuration of LVM and managing the volumes.
7)Diagnosing user related issues and providing solutions to them;Backup & Restoration by using tar.
8)Diagnosing monitoring performance and network related issue using ps,top,netstat.
9) Responsible for adding creating new users,groups and setup home directories and appropriate access restrictions to software and directories & files using access modes.
10) Installation & Configuration of various linux flavors such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0,5.4,6.0,7.2 ,8.1 and Cent OS.
11) Configuration of DNS,DHCP and Web server.
12) File system Management: ext3, ext4 utilities.
13) All VM running or not, Storge check (HWand Soft).
