I deliver quality and state-of-the-art statistical, mathematical, and Data Science research outputs. I conduct any form of descriptive analysis, research, and prediction.

I have been working as a data specialist in the area of Public Health at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute. Among my primary tasks, I have been leading a team of experts in COVID-19 descriptive analytics, modeling, and prediction using the hybrid-extended SEIR model. I provide policy advice for the Federal Ministry of Health with regard to resource allocation and intervention planning.

I have taken part in preparing a training module with chapters on Basic and Advanced Health data science training with reputable Data Scientists and University Professors. I also have taken part in the Pilot test for the Basic Health Data Science training module.
I also have led a team of data specialists at EPHI on a project using machine and deep learning to predict leading attributable risk factors for Under-five mortality in Ethiopia. I am also trying to extend the same cluster of countries to use similar algorithms to determine leading risk factors and suggest possible interventions.
I am also currently involved in finding an optimal policy for HIV care using Reinforcement learning.
