Brief job description:
• Support Damen experts in supervision/training/project management and others at site Song Thu (STC)
• Contact person between Song Thu yard & Damen
• Attend & translate progress meeting (weekly & monthly) and make report
• Signal (potential upcoming) problems and report to Damen experts
• Translation (English-Vietnamese, Vietnamese-English) for Damen experts and STC engineers in office, in workshop and on board of ships
• Translate specification and ship document (including manual and instruction books) in many fields such as hull&steel work, carpentry, painting, piping, outfitting, electric, nautical, …
• Manage import material, drawings, and all admin works. Order and purchase material in local market if necessary.
• Support commissioning team & attend sea trial if required
• Do the paper works of office
• Arrange letter of invitation, visa extension, arrange accommodation & transportation for Damen supervisors, commissioning engineers and visitors
• Preparation for some office events
