My name is James French.

I've been doing drafting and mechanical engineering since 1987. I am a Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) since 2006, I am also fully versed with PDM (Professional and Standard) and can provide assistance and consultations for Vault Workflow management strategies. My resources are Solidworks Premium, including Simulation along with Solidworks Electrical. All together I can bring over $30K in software/harware resources to any client for a very reasonable rate. I have a passion for using Solidwork and can provide a level of expertise that exceeds the level that most Solidworks Reseller's can provide.

I can design it, simulate it, draw it, fabricate it, test it for just about any type of industry. Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Medical Device, Scientific Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Automation, Automotive, Consumer Products....and more.

Advantage: With my experience, assignments can be successfully completed with an execptional level of professionalism and effieciency as opposed to hiring a full-time entry level design/drafter that will need to be hand-held and double checked constantly. And all my services come at an exceptional rate!!!

Work Terms

My preference at this time is to work as a stand-alone addition to any team/customer. I can be available for onsite visits as required, but I do have my own tools and software to utilize. I can provide remote access for file transfers or can connect to any network as needed. I charge a standard rate of $25/hr for basic drafting and design servces but can provide bids for complete projects. I'm set up to work as 1099 or direct invoicing as needed.
