I am an experienced communications professional and seasoned journalist with a flair for copywriting who thrives on the tightest of deadlines and hefty workloads. I’ve nurtured a talent for crafting stories news editors really want and a keen eye for spotting and addressing reputational issues before they grow arms, legs and hashtags.
I started out in journalism covering high-profile court cases, human interest stories, chasing public money-squandering bureaucrats and telling the long-running saga of President Trump’s involvement in Scottish golf resorts.
After several years of ducking and diving I leapt the fence to join the world of local authority reputation management inhabiting the surreal world of politics and public service juggling the needs of often conflicting factions while keeping the media both on-side and at bay.
