About

Tagline's are so passé; talk to me, let's work together.

I am about to turn 50; I've worked hard in administrative, clerical, and leadership positions my entire life and I've been a role-player all that time, as well. These two tracks have given me a true appreciation for attention to detail and a great deal of experience in both technical and creative writing. I've used this knowledge and experience to edit hundreds of documents, co-write dozens, and to write dozens more both in my positions working as a contractor within the U.S. government and for Sikorsky AeroSpace Maintenance on Fort Carson, and in my personal life. Work has included advertisements for Ostomy Armor and a now-defunct security system business, short stories for three e-Zines, a game adventure and novel both released on DriveThru RPG. I am studied in several styles of writing and, if I don't know it, I will.

Interests go well beyond role-playing games, into the technical and mechanical -I was a Blackhawk Helicopter Mechanic and Crew Chief in the U.S. Army and continue to have a keen interest in helicopters, in particular, and aviation, in general-, scientific -I follow Richard Branson, Stanley McChrystal, NASA, and the U.S. Army on LinkedIn and Facebook-, and historical. These, together, allow me to focus in other disciplines, as well, as so much is attached to each of my main foci.

I am an aviation veteran, having served in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1996, live in East Texas with my wife, Sarah, and my dog, Maverick, am a strong Christian conservative and I truly enjoy writings in both Science Fiction and Fantasy genre's.

I look forward to hearing from you.

~Paul

Work Terms

Being new to this sort of work, all of what you will read, here, MAY be adjusted as time progresses, but here are the basics...

Basic Hours: M-F 7:30am - 6:00pm; eight hours spread over this time period/day.

Conference Hours: M-F, let's talk and put something together. I don't mind getting up early or staying up late, but only once-in-a-while. If you want to conference every night outside my normal hours, that's just not going to work.

Payment Terms: We can work together on this, though my preference is going to be to use GURU to handle much of that work. As for pay I believe in the principle that it's your money and you can pay what you want; however, there's a level of fairness that has to go with it or you may not see me, again. My goal would be to make $25/hour, which means I may have to take on several projects during the course of a day.

Preferred Communication: Contact through GURU to begin with, exchanged email secondary, but I also have accounts for Messenger, Discord, and I'm good with Zoom, as well. If I'm to use my personal cell, not one provided by you, I would expect compensation for that, as well.

As explained, above, those are my basic terms and they are to be refined as I gain experience, here.
