With over four decades of excellence in the field of human- resource, PK Chatterjee to this day remains loyal and adheres to his belief, “There is no short cut to reach your goal – the only way up there is through integrity and persistence”. Having seen HRM evolve over 46 years, PKC (as he is popularly known amongst his peers and admirers) has had a tremendous contribution to the field. Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Coaching and General Management are a few to accreditations to his name.
Having worked with Giants like HUL, Birla and RPG Group, Chatterjee has been intensively involved in handling and motivating highly unionized workforces, maintaining statutory compliance, restructuring of various group companies through reduction in manpower, financial restructuring, conceptualising and implementing 360 degree feedback systems which actively orchestrated consumer connect programmes and handling bureaucrats, opinion leaders, political leaders in various states of the county and outside the country as well.
Besides having a stalwart status within the corporate organisations, PKC has leant much of his time in coaching and has been on national panel member for Talent acquisition through campus recruitment and open market. However Chatterjee has been a receiver of many honorary achievements such as Chairman of HR, CSR & Skill Development Sub-Committee of Bengal Chambers of Commerce and Industry (BCCI); Chairman of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM); Vice-Chairman of Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD), National Council Member of Employer's Federation of India, and Visiting faculty in Kolkata University & academic council member in Globsyn Business School. He has also Represented India as Employer's representative in ILO, Italy, and South Korea.
A compassionate, intelligent and an extremely humble human being, PK Chatterjee is also a part of Anubhab Foundation - an NGO - a school for slum children.
