About

Registered Patent Attorney

I am a Registered Patent Attorney with over 12 years experience in patent prosecution and litigation. I am dedicated to providing stellar customer service, have excellent communication skills, and have a great deal of expertise in all aspects of patent law and procedures before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

My technical expertise is quite broad, but centers primarily on any computer-related technology, including internet, networking, computer applications, operating systems, and computer graphics. I have a B.S. in Computer Science, and am adept at understanding the underlying details and intricacies of any innovation in this field. I also have experience in other technical fields, such as digital circuits, clothing, lighting circuits, and water piping systems. In addition to this broad range of experience, my constant exposure to new technologies has trained me to get up to speed on a new or unfamiliar technology very quickly (sometimes quite literally overnight).

I worked at one of the top IP firms in the world for nearly a decade, and led projects for Verizon Wireless, Verizon Communications, Sun Microsystems, and other high profile technology companies. At the firm, my time was divided between litigation and prosecution. After I left, I started my own patent practice, with a focus on patent prosecution. I also represent clients in patent search, patent counseling, and non-prosecution matters before the patent office, such as reexamination requests.
