I trained as a primary school teacher and spent a couple of years teaching and tutoring primary kids before moving to China and teaching English to university students. I completed a CELTA course and studied Chinese and lived in China for nearly five years.
As well as teaching English to university students, I also again taught primary students and tutored highschool students. I also taught drama, debating, and cross-cultural communication.
In between teaching I proofread academic papers and textbooks written by master and Ph.D. students of medicine, engineering and education. The textbooks (a series of five) have now been published and are used in many universities across China.
Currently I am studying a Certificate IV in Business Administration and should be complete in June. I am excellent at organising other people and when living with other people it is a bit of a habit/hobby.
