I am a graduate of Kalamazoo College, class of 2013. I received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish Language & Literature and International and Area Studies, with a focus on Latin America. While at Kalamazoo I was a member of the Men's Varsity Swim team for 4 years, and also studied abroad in Santiago, Chile, for six months in 2011. In 2012 I returned for two months to conduct the research for my Senior Individualized Project titled "Eco-tourism on Easter Island: The Pursuit of the 'Natural' and its Place in the Global Economy." For this project I interviewed many islanders and transcribed their interviews, then translated them from Spanish to English.
Since college I have worked three corporate jobs. The first was at a large customs brokerage firm; the second was at a third-party logistics provider; and the third and most-recent was at a food distributor. I have honed my analytical skills, and learned the intricacies of corporate customer quality assurance.
