Professional Indexer
Due to my background as an adjunct professor of religious studies, I selected spiritual and religious indexing as my specialty once I became a professional indexer in 2010. I also index in other subjects such as African studies, business, psychology, and self-improvement.
Throughout the years I have worked for independent authors, book packagers, publishing companies, and bidding sites such as Apex CoVantage, Callisto Media, Orbis Books, and Upwork. I also worked for six years in database indexing within a controlled vocabulary system for Alexander Street Press.
Work Terms
I bid each project on the number of indexable pages and density of the page layout.
