A classically trained singer, I sang professionally before audiences of thousands, conducted choirs for fun and profit, and won a composition contest before settling down to write full time.

I believe in the power of the written word and I have always enjoying honing text into the very best it can be. Writing my own novels has allowed me to grow in my understanding of how powerful a tool language is. But like any good tool, language must be kept sharp and properly balanced if it is to do its best work.

My idea of an emergency is realizing that a long weekend is coming and that the library is closing in an hour. I love finding cool seashells, knitting sweaters which start out right but inevitably turn out too large, and petting stray dogs. I live in Rhode Island with my husband and suffer from the sin of boundless pride when it comes to my four grown children.

Work Terms

I prefer to stay in touch by email since our waking hours may not always coincide. I will be prompt in responding to you and am likely to ask questions as we go along. Please give clear indications of your expectations, so I can meet your needs.
My fee is $50 an hour. If the job will require extensive time, we can discuss a set price for the entire project.
