I hold a MS in Computer and Information Science, a BS in Computer Information Systems and have been doing web development since 2012. My most robust achievement: I developed an application for T-Mobile consisting of ~8000 lines of code (and growing) that provides automation capabilities for implementing configuration changes and monitoring for T-Mobile's entire Packet Core network. This application is a product of my professional career at T-Mobile and is continually growing as the network expands/changes. I am proficient in PHP, Perl, Javascript/jQuery and MySQL; I am also quite familiar with shell scripting (bash); I have created working applications with Python and Java as well, however I prefer working with PHP/Perl.
I like to provide a positive user experience in addition to the functional aspects of any web application, expect a refined User Interface using modern technologies in addition to the mechanics of any application that I develop. I have included tutorial videos that I created to introduce my applications to users, please view them to get an idea of the caliber of my development.
I also have a strong knowledge of networks (several years experience as a mobile packet core engineer). I got into development by writing programs that will automate the network that I support - I began writing web interfaces to allow "one-click" execution of advanced config changes/implementations. This has progressed into a commercial-grade application with advanced features that is now integral to T-Mobile's network operations. In addition to the dev side, I am knowledgeable with linux servers, networking protocols and network design.
