Achieved both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University in 5 years. Worked in building industry after university. Main duties include:

1. Found energy savings for clients by performing energy audit on site, including studying energy data, checking indoor thermal comfort, CO2, lighting lux level, and envelope performance

2. Successfully met clients’ expectation of saving building energy use and communicated with stakeholders by writing comprehensive energy concept reports and regularly holding clarification meetings and presentations

3. Collaborated with teams across disciplines to develop Energy Concept at early design phase, including envelope thermal properties, exterior shading, window-wall-ratio vs. daylight & solar heat gain, HVAC system possibility, and sustainability measures.

4. Identified the most energy-efficient systems using simulation results from 3D modeling, such as Energy Plus, Open Studio, eQuest, and Design Builder

5. Achieved LEED certification as a LEED consultant for clients; successfully integrated LEED requirement into project design; Following EAp2 and EAc1 built LEED baseline and proposed models according to ASHRAE 90.1 and 62.1
