I have over 10 years of experience in Accounting,Auditing,Tax,bookkeeping and with full working knowledge of various computerized packages which include Quick books,Sage,Pastel,advanced excel among others.
Internal Audit Duties:
Currently internal auditor for Industrial Development bank Ltd, Amana Capital Ltd, and Maisha Bora SACCO.
Some of my monthly bookkeeping clients include; Homechoice supermarkets,China Telecom (K) ltd,Alternative Prosperity ltd among others.
Duties:
-Payroll preparation & filing of statutory deductions to the respective Government Authority.
-Preparation and presentation of management accounts.
-Preparation of financial statements- Trial balance, P&L account and Balance sheet.
-Interpretation of final accounts to the clients and advising them on issues related to costs& internal control measures.
-Bank reconciliations on monthly basis.
-Debtors and Creditors ledger accounts reconciliation with the statements of accounts.
-Computation and filing of VAT & Withholding tax returns by due date.
External Audit Duties:
-Planning and execution of client Audit.
-Conducting audit of the clients books of accounts to ensure compliance to the International Accounting Standards.
-Audit report and finalization of the audit engagement
-Preparation of annual budget
-Analyzing, controlling and maintaining client’s relevant General ledger accounts and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
-Monitoring client’s assets accounts and keeping track on movement and balances to ensure that they are sufficient for business going concern.
Work Terms
