I graduated from Pensacola Christian College in June 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Spanish. Some classes I took included creative writing, introduction to journalism, copy editing, and copywriting. For my copy editing class, I edited a short story and a nonfiction piece for my school's annual publication. I enjoyed editing those pieces because I got to practice my editing skills, and I got to work with the authors and help them communicate their messages. When I was fifteen years old, I completed my first novel. I am in the process of editing it and hope to self-publish it soon. It was when I started writing this novel at the age of twelve that I discovered that I was a storyteller. My dream is to be a great storyteller who writes novels and short stories. I have written several short stories for classes in college. I have also done some freelancing jobs on oDesk, Elance, and Fiverr. My mission as a freelance editor and writer is to make the author's vision known. As a writer, I know how much authors treasure their works as they would their own children. Any author who trusts me to edit his work can rest assured that I will treat his work with respect and care. I will respect the author's vision and do all I can to make his piece of writing the best it can be.
