In 1990, Sharon landed in New York City’s Upper West Side in hopes of finding out who she was. What she found were dope dealers in rat infested parks selling oregano for ten dollars a bag outside her front door. Since then the city has become slightly more tamed, a tad more expensive and a thousand scripts have passed through her hands. Give or take. She studied Musical Theatre. She trod the boards in once grand now dilapidated or burned out regional theaters. She earned her keep as Dialogue Coach training actors privately and on the sets of New York City sitcoms in shows such as Sex & the City, Hope & Faith, The Return of Jezebel James and Sherri. A highlight for her was the time spent as a writer’s P.A. for the TONY Awards. Seventeen hour days at seven dollars an hour, all for the love of the craft and that cool IMDB credit. Needless to say, she's had a pretty successful career as a Xerox specialist. The time had come for her to write her own scripts. There’s nothing like living below the poverty level to find out exactly who she was. Oregano doesn’t buy itself people.
She's landing her scripts in the top 10% of many Film Festivals across the country. Currently she coaches Broadway calibre actors and lives with her equally talented husband in Lower Manhattan.
