Working With Data!

See https://skreutzer.de/about.php - other than the personal bio, I'm mostly looking to work more with data, to expand and improve my own data tooling for primarily structured/semantic formats, and in some cases also for extracting data from unstructured sources. It's parsers, converters, transformers, interface implementations, GUIs, workflows, online services, etc. Some influences and background are concepts like single-source + multi-channel publishing, trying to fully or semi-automate data handling tasks.

Work Terms

Hours of operation: I'm full-time employed, so I only have spare-time hours (evenings, weekends, vacation/holidays) for working on projects (but I do hope/prefer to apply some tooling and software to work smarter + faster!).

Payment: being an EU citizen, I don't have a credit/debit card, as most of my bank transactions have been regular bank transfers so far. OK, at least, PayPal is an option now.

Preferred communication style: I love to use issue/task + progress trackers, also for regular update reporting. If not that, I prefer asynchronous communication, be it e-mail or some chat stream or similar, for the benefit that you and I can read up at a convenient time, without the need to schedule and respecting other obligations/occupations, timezones, sleep, etc. Real-time/synchronous is an option, but as there's sometimes technical issues with some of them, is probably best to go with Google Hangout/Meet, Whereby, Discord, or similar? Not using Zoom.
