I was about eight years old when I coded my first "hello world" program in C++. Since then, I've been constantly learning about technology and programming. Through the help of my parents and teachers, I started to excel in technology until eventually I was able to put my skills to use. In middle school, I was able to fix and upgrade my laptop with spare parts while a carefully-coded program did my math homework. Along the way I picked up skills in writing documents and spreadsheets, until eventually I was the go-to person for help with Microsoft Office. With that experience and the insight of my IT teacher, I easily gained some certifications to back my experience. I'm always aiming to learn more. That's why I'm pursuing a program in Cyber Security, a certificate as an Oracle Certified Professional, and a CompTIA Security+ certification all at the same time. I learned that I can really help some people with my skills- whether it's by fixing their computer or debugging their program. Now with guru.com, I can help people around the world.
