One project that I'm particularly proud of is the comprehensive application I developed for FMB, a non-profit organization. The motivation behind this project stemmed from a desire to streamline their processes for client reviews and attendance tracking, as well as to provide a more efficient means of managing their operations.

From the start, I collaborated closely with the stakeholders at FMB to understand their specific needs and requirements. We discussed their pain points and identified areas where technology could make a significant impact. Together, we outlined the goals of the project and established a roadmap for implementation.

My personal contribution to the project involved designing and building the entire application from scratch. I chose to use the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) for its versatility and scalability. Using Node.js and Express.js on the backend, I created APIs to handle client requests and interactions. MongoDB served as the database to store client reviews and attendance data.

On the frontend, I utilized React.js to build a user-friendly interface that allowed clients to submit reviews and track attendance with ease. I implemented features such as QR code scanning for attendance tracking and data visualization using DataTables framework for better insights.

One of the technical challenges I faced was implementing robust authentication functionality to ensure secure access for both clients and administrators. I utilized JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and bcrypt for token generation and password hashing, providing a secure authentication mechanism for the application.

Throughout the development process, I maintained open communication with the FMB team, providing regular updates and incorporating their feedback to ensure the final product met their expectations. After rigorous testing and refinement, the application was successfully deployed and has been in use, streamlining FMB's operations and enhancing their efficiency.

This project taught me valuable lessons in project management, communication, and technical problem-solving. It was immensely rewarding to see the positive impact of my work on the organization and its stakeholders, and it solidified my passion for using technology to drive social good.
