I am a 36 year old mother of 3 from Harlan, Ky. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, fishing, making crafts, and enjoying the beautiful out doors when I get a chance. I have always believed that honesty and integrity is very important in anything we go to do. I have learned over the years that life is not always easy, but if we work hard and try we can overcome most obstacles in our path and learn to adapt to almost any situation.
I have always enjoyed working with and helping others. I have an A.A. Degree in Education and was a year away from graduating with my B.A. from Lincoln Memorial University. I spent years working with local schools and helping with tutoring, substituting, creating projects and assignments for students, creating power points, etc. I loved working with the students and being a part of their education.
In addition to my background in Education, I have also volunteered throughout the community with local charitable organizations, the employment office, the pride program, bible school, etc. Over the years I have accumulated a number of skills including phone etiquette, Internet research, data entry, organizing events, email etiquette, customer service, etc. I have also had some recent experience transcribing audio files online. I have worked with and used Microsoft word, powerpoint, and excel on numerous occasions. I have had several courses in Business, computers, children's literature, writing, etc. I have also written a variety of pieces including children's books, poems, short stories, research papers, etc.
I am currently employed at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky as a production clerk. I decided to explore the world of online work as a way of earning extra income with flexible hours of course, but also as a way of branching out and helping those that aren't necessarily part of my community. I am self motivated and a hard worker. I look forward to working with you all. Thank you.
