Information Architect, Technical Writer, Policy and Procedure Document Specialist
I’m an experienced academic and business writer, tutor, researcher, and adjunct professor. My undergraduate degree is in English and my graduate degree is in English with concentrations in Writing, Teaching, and Literary Criticism. For the past five years, I have worked as a technical writer and consultant specializing in knowledge, documentation, project, and content management.
I develop, create, update, and maintain content related to information security, information technology, and cybersecurity, including, but not limited to training and eLearning; security; audit and compliance; policies, procedures, processes and standards; software and hardware documentation; technical and functional specifications; user experience and user interface; business and strategic plans. I also evaluate existing policy and procedure document libraries and recommend changes when needed.
I’ve worked as a consultant in various industries including finance, government, legal, and marketing. My clients include the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The Institutes, Prudential Financial Services, and Vanguard.
Work Terms
My working hours are flexible to meet project deadlines. Payment for complex projects is incremental as milestones are reached. Payment for all other projects is due upon receipt of the completed order.
