An award-winning producer with nearly 25 years of experience in all facets of audio production, I have worked on nationally distributed programs and projects. I have been a producer, a studio and live sound engineer, technical director, trainer a live broadcast director, and now a teacher. For 13 years I was a news operations producer for National Public Radio, and as an independent audio/radio producer I have written and produced commercial spots, edited, mixed and mastered both short radio pieces as well as long form documentaries.
As an independent audio producer I produced and directed a national live call-in talk show and edited, mixed and mastered a weekly broadcast of radio documentaries; interview-based news and cultural programs; and a series of historical sound modules.
I am currently the Audio Supervisor & Instructor at the famed Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC, where I teach students basic to advanced concepts of live sound production for theater and musical shows as well as studio and field recording, editing and mixing, audio storytelling.
Work Terms
I do not take on any projects to which I cannot fully commit. I am very good with deadlines. All I ask of you, as my client, is that you provide me with all of your expectations from the outset. Clearly communicate and we will both succeed together.
