A visual/graphic designer with thirteen years of visual art, graphic art, and graphic design experience, ten months of creative blogging experience, four years of gallery and forum moderating, and several months of technical and community assisting is ready to venture further into the design world. Her first taste of art success was in high school when a Houston area corporation chose her artwork to be on bookcovers that were distributed to schools across the Houston area. This was just one of many awards and accolades she received during her years in high school. What further ignited the passion for her to bring her creativity to the masses was her introduction to graphic art and design in college and how she could brighten up the pages of calendars, brochures, and magazines with her work. Her love for doing design work was cemented when she took on the task of being the graphic/layout editor for two fan magazines. She feels that experience made her a better artist, designer, and communicator, and made her battle ready for the design world. Her work as a creative blogger has made her love the online side of design even more. She gets to use her graphic art, graphic design, internet, and writing skills every week in tutorials showing people how to transform their photos into works of art that they can use in their everyday lives. She hopes to bring those skills and more to a role in the design world.
