After graduation I started working for Siemens, Infrastructure & Cities Sector, Mobility and Logistics Division in Oslo, Norway as a Software Engineer. My responsibility was set to as back-end and front-end software development engineering in addition as a commission engineering testing and verifying the system as whole. The majority if my work involved designing and implanting PLC code using Siemens S7 and Schneider IGSS HMI SCADA system on top of that for supervision. it also included OPC Clients/Database communication setup towards VTS (road surveillance HQ in Norway) using Siemens Simantic .Net servers with complete hardware/software configurations, Fibre/Ethernet switched Communication rings between over 40 communication nodes and IP Video system detection implantation involving over 100 IP cams with attached dedicated servers
After 2 years in that position I started working for ABB, PS/PG Sector, Water Division in Oslo as an Automation engineer doing Front-end and Back-end software development on the ABB control systems 800xA (Scada System) and ABB800 series PLC types for Norway’s largest water and wastewater plant, Oslo VAV. This also included commissioning, implementation on every level from sensor, through PLC up to Scada system and reporting systems based on SQL server technology.
After a short period, I was headhunted to an engineering company outside Oslo as a CTO (Head Technology Operations). I was leading a team of 12 highly qualified Engineers with the main responsibility on front-end and back-end software development (Scada and PLC development and implantations) in addition to lead technical sales tenders.
