I have a breadth of skills, experience, and education. I would like an opportunity to bring them to bear on your project!

Most recently I was a Systems Administrator at a research lab at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I was the sole IT worker for the lab, so I did almost everything for the lab. I ran a virtualized stack of mostly Linux servers to provide necessary services including file storage, website, documentation wiki, LDAP account database, and cloud storage. In the course of managing the diverse data generated in our experiments, I did a great deal of automation using Bash, perl, and python.
Prior to this, I had jobs doing Java programming, desktop support, network administration, server support (Windows, Linux, and Netware). Coupled with my education in Computer Science, I have an ability to learn new concepts and programming languages quickly.
