I specialize in proofreading and editing. My strength in editing is doing it with the reader's point of view. I developed this skill right through my 20 years with the US government.

I became fond of developing my English communication skills from my early years in primary school. Fortunately, I have had jobs which have constantly demanded the strengthening of these skills. Currently, I am involved in developing criteria and describing themes of importance for selecting recipients for one of the most prestigious global awards program in India, creating the rationale that helps select candidates for the awards, writing citations for award winners, and communicating with world leaders who are the awards recipients. Previously, I worked for the US `government in India where I specialized in writing diplomatic and strategic communications. I have myself won an award for script writing for a video on the city of Mumbai. My work experience has helped me write with the reader’s point of view.

Work Terms

I can spare about 20 hours a week for editing and proofreading for projects that come through Guru.com. I am comfortable working through the email system and with attachments that are in the word format. I will accept any payment mode that works through Guru.com.
