LANCE BORDE
PAINTING AND ILLUSTRATION
Armed with three degrees in Graphic and Fine Art, and English, Lance's post college years were spent ghosting various comic books and filling spots with his illustrations and paintings. His Science Fiction and Fantasy paintings have been exhibited on the east and west coasts. His digital coloring and graphic design work is award-winning; including the prestigious comic book industries 2007 Eisner Award of "Best Publication for a Younger Audience" for Gumby Comics which he designed, marketed and digitally co-colored.
GRAPHIC ART
For over thirty years Lance has held full time positions within many San Francisco Bay Area based printing firms. The sad truth of it is, he saw the uprising of the "print vs. internet" war whereby many companies were unable to adapt to the conflict and closed doors. Other doors opened and Lance's education led him toward a career providing computer generated graphic artwork which could now aid the client, artist and printer alike in providing a seamless workflow for all. Years of generating graphic artwork and, in some cases, troubleshooting imaging, plate and print issues directly within the industry, helps him to avoid design flaws. Expect professional, ready-to-print files when you need them.

BIO
Lance is a native Northern Californian with a passion for the arts; his favorite mode of artistic expression is through traditional painting. Multiple BA degreed recipient of the University of the East Bay, California. Computer Science Certifications in graphic print and communication. Always has a cats in his life. Mon Chaton de Canneberge Chérie shares his life now. Cherea for short; pronounced as the French would pronounce mon chérie. Enjoys baking and sometimes cooking especially when the food is home grown from the garden he usually has each summer. Favorite saying — "Without Him was not anything made that was made."
