I have a technical background. Alex found appropriate technical solutions that I hadn't considered. He used his initiative to solve several problems, delivering something that exceeded the raw requirements, and enhanced the delivery. Could have done with a little more communication during the development process, but I hadn't asked for that ahead of time, and it was a short (and rapidly executed) project...
