I am a Senior Piping Designer from Aberdeen I have been using AutoCAD for over 25 years in 2d Format 3d Format and using the new toolsets of Plant 3D and Architecture versions of Autocad, I have worked in the oil and gas sector for 18 years and have worked as a DC surveyor utilizing point cloud scanners and Theodolite instruments to capture data I then progressed to piping design when I used this captured informations to produce 3D models in AutoCAD plant 3D creating P&ID drawings isometrics and simple support details for Nemours clients in Aberdeen and overseas. I have started to expand my company's horizons by looking at other industries that can utilize this software to help cut costs and improve productivity.
