Thomas Warming Illustration - New York, NY Warming is a freelance illustrator of Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Matte Painting & Concept Design for Film / Computer Games, Children's Books, Graphic Novels & Advertising. Warming was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, earning the title of Art Director at the age of 25. In 1993 he founded Warming Illustration and worked alongside a group of renowned artists in a Copenhagen studio for 14 years. During this period, Warming produced a range of artistic works including children’s books, advertising, magazine illustrations, board Games & computer Games. His clients are a wide array of companies including Lego, Mattel, Microsoft, Cartoon Network. In terms of publishing, Warming has illustrated 18 published books and covers. Warming works in many different styles and mediums, most preferring acrylic paint for analog illustration and Photoshop CS5 for digital illustration. Warming has also taught 10 consecutive years of Storyboarding and Sequential Art at the Art Department of the Copenhagen Technical College.
