Warming was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, earning the title of Art Director at the age of 25. In 1993 he founded Warming Illustration and worked alongside a group of renowned artists in a Copenhagen studio for 14 years. During this period, Warming produced a range of artistic works including children’s books, advertising, magazine illustrations, board Games & computer Games. His clients are a wide array of companies including Lego, Mattel, Microsoft, Cartoon Network. In terms of publishing, Warming has illustrated 18 published books and covers. Warming works in many different styles and mediums, most preferring acrylic paint for analog illustration and Photoshop CS5 for digital illustration.
Warming has also taught 10 consecutive years of Storyboarding and Sequential Art at the Art Department of the Copenhagen Technical College.
Also teaching bi-annual seminars and workshops in classic perspective drawing, live modeling, concept design and graphic novel script writing.
Most recently, Warming has:
- Worked as Lead Concept designer for a 3-D animated feature film,
- Storyboarded a full length movie for Will Smith1 (the actors father)
- Co created and illustrated the Rich Kids of Instagram novel for Simon & Schuster
