As a subtitler, I transcribe spoken content from audio to text (intralingual) and translate it from source to target language (interlingual), considering cultural, technical, and contextual nuances for the target audience (e.g., deaf and hard of hearing). Then, I edit subtitles according to Standard Guidelines, carefully timing them with audio and concisely distributing sentences within character limits.

I have experience subtitling my own videos. In them, I speak in English with subtitles in Portuguese. I have also produced some music lyrics videos for my own songs where used a technique called DYNAMIC SUBTITLES.
