Considering the 1-20 grade scale used in Portugal's teaching system (being 20 the highest score) my portuguese language grades never went below 19 and as for english never below 18. I'm a Portuguese native speaker, but I also lived for 2 years in Macau, where you have to speak more English than Portuguese, if you want to be understood. Brazilian Portuguese is almost a native language in Portugal too (the reverse situation isn't so true), because we have acquired a taste, since long time ago, for watching more Brazilian Tv shows than "made in Portugal" ones.
