I am an English-Portuguese (native) professional ISO9001:2008 certified translator/proofreader.

I have legal education and a technical degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, which helps me choose the best communication approach for every situation.

My specializations include business translations, and more specifically technical financial language, due to my 15 years of experience working as an investment adviser in a bank.

I also feel very comfortable working in other fields - I have been in the translation market for more than 10 years, and I have already translated just about everything: the Minamata Convention on Mercury, the Indian Government official magazine, E-learning modules for The World Customs Organization, A-title movies for major Hollywood companies, technical content for oil industries in Angola, personal letters, certificates, medical content, games/apps, transcreation for famous comic book characters... (most of my work is done under NDA, so I hope you understand if I cannot reveal details).
My work is most appreciated by every client, and you can find a lot of great public feedback on my performance (all 5 star) in Elance, Proz, etc. I also work as translator/proofreader for Deluxe Media, Dotsub, Visual Data Media, Onehourtranslation, Gengo, Bureautranslations, Livetranslation, Transn, Tolingo and several other clients outside freelancer platforms.
How can I handle so many different subjects and still have 100% perfect feedbacks? I have always loved challenges, I have always loved researching and I have always loved learning about everything, and seize every opportunity to do it. This is why every translation I perform implies a thorough research on the subject, in order to obtain the best level of accuracy.
I have no problem with working on Sundays or after-hours.
