Making the Word a Better Place

Writing is my passion. It's gives me an aesthetic eye towards moments that are a blip to most. My sixteen years as a blogger, content creator, and entertainment journalist allows me to explore new forms of expression every day. It can be music, travel destinations, or restaurants looking for a sparkle beyond the average plate.

But, I'm also adaptable to covering new subjects that both educate the reader and me. I've written blogs on real estate sales, phone apps, and even the healthcare industry.

Writing for a living allows me the freedom to love life's finer moments. I'm an avid hiker. I love reaching mountain summits-the most recent being Rucu Pichincha, Ecuador--to see new views of the world. I love to cook. I'm a world traveler and avid gardener. Gardening lets me see the our environment from a microcosmic point of view. I have a profound appreciation for plants, insects (that don't eat my vegetables), and the art form of creating gardens for sight and taste.

I enjoy all forms of music from honkytonk to heavy metal. I've spent a sizable chunk of my life's savings in pursuit of concerts halfway around the world.

My writing reflects this attitude. I'm open to any subject for the experience, whether it's about buying a teen's first car to eating unidentified foods in a third world market.
I take this same idea with any client collaboration. It's important to see their vision and understand where they're coming from. Deadlines, revisions, and extensive word counts are all part of the game. I embrace them all because it furthers my love of the written word.

Work Terms

I'm flexible with my hours although I typically try to end my day by 7pm. I like weekends off, but I can work through them if there's an impending deadline. My rate is $20 an hour. I can also negotiate a fee per article. My preferred method of communication is via email or Skype.
