My first job was in a shoe shop, where I learnt the basics of the retail industry from packing to being a cashier. I was then fortunate enough to be chosen for an internship with the largest Freight Forwarding company in Namibia, Transworld Cargo (Pty) Ltd. I spent two years as an intern with the company where they would rotate me through the various departments in the company. Accounts, warehouse, sea freight imports & exports, projects, UPS courier. This is where I was introduced to database creation and management during my time in warehousing. I dropped out of the internship afterward and took a permanent role in the company in UPS courier. When I left the company I started at DHL Express Namibia. At DHL Express I held a middle management role as Customs Team Leader, where I headed a team of roughly 13 individuals. I designed and implemented a database for one of the customer service related departments under me. After leaving DHL Express I moved to DHL Global Forwarding in the role of Customer Relations Specialist which I am in at present still. I love the outdoors and physical activities. I am also a casual writer. My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, football, basketball and travelling.
