I'm Emily Sabens, and I'm a writer and designer based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I graduated summa cum laude from Ball State University, where I double-majored in magazine journalism and journalism graphics with minors in digital media and Spanish. During my time in school, I did five internships, ranging from spending a summer with the Indianapolis Monthly Magazine dining team to working as a designer for a CNC machining company.

I can write. I can design. I can copy edit and fact check. I'm a social media pro. I can code and create websites. I can take photos and videos. In summary, if you need someone who can tell your story in an innovative and engaging way, I'm the person for you.

When I'm not writing or designing, you can usually find me trying new recipes, going on a run while listening to a podcast or re-watching classic 90s rom-coms. (I'm looking at you, "You've Got Mail" and "When Harry Met Sally.")
