I am a Somali native speaker – born and raised in Kenya which gives me Good basis of both Somali and Swahili Languages.

Currently winding my Masters in Economics Cooperation and Human Development (MECOHD)
I also graduated from the
Kenyatta University in 2015 with a Certificate in Community interpretation.
I also graduated from the Geneva University with Basic Certificate in Interpretation in 2014

Kenyatta University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Finance and
I now reside in the Nairobi, Kenya.

I am also an educator, I teach Somali, Swahili and English at Oxford Community College in Nairobi, Kenya - I have been working for the school system for more two years.
I hold a Kenya National Examination Council Primary and secondary Swahili and English certification.

I am a professional translator; I translate from English into Somali and English Swahili for over two years of experience with translating,
proofreading, and editing. I also provide voice-over services.

With each project I undertake, I guarantee high quality work delivered on or before the deadline.
I also provide prompt responses to phone calls and emails.

I am a certified International English language proficiency Tester by
British Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (IELTS),
a national organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning
of all languages at all levels of instruction throughout the Britain and Europe.
I have been conducting
Oral Proficiency Interview tests or OPI tests in Somali languages since 2014 for www.Invedyn.com for the interpreters.
This is a test that determines how well a person speaks Somali language by
comparing his or her performance of specific communication tasks.
