It is rumoured that language yielded to me earlier than it does to an average kid, at least as per my mom. I still remember how I first stumbled across the joy of weaving words to build 'things of beauty' while engaging in writing one of my school compositions. Well, my interests and passions across various intellectual and artistic disciplines keep changing like the hues of weather. One thing that doesn't, though, is how words still let me meander among them to my heart's delight, and how I always long to return to them.

This is Jayalekshmi S. Writing has occupied most of my professional career ever since- be it as part of my job as a content writer, or an editorial assistant with a small publishing house, as a freelancer, or as part of my academic training in BA(H) English Literature, or my first attempts at weaving words across to exude literary acumen.
