Enthusiastic, Dedicated, and Versatile
Hi!
It's true: I'm enthusiastic about writing. But I'm also enthusiastic about life in general. I aim to learn new skills and have new experiences whenever possible. Freelance writing is a wonderful way to experience new voices, new topics, new challenges, and new people, all while delivering a meaningful product to a happy customer!
My love for language is eclipsed only by my love for positive interactions with other people. I am especially drawn to tasks such as proofreading, editing, tutoring and ghostwriting, because helping someone realize the full potential of their own words and ideas brings intangible rewards.
I also have an interest in DIY/inspirational/advice writing (such as articles and blog posts), as I have myriad experience that I would be thrilled to share with others. Additionally, I have quite a lot of experience in memoir and vignette writing; so, whether it's an instructional DIY article you're after, or a Creative Non-Fiction confessional, I'm ready to get to work.
As a disclaimer: I do not have a surplus of published writing credits or customer references. Thus far, I have primarily worked on collaborative and/or ghostwriting projects, and have produced work in an academic setting. I have had two pieces published in literary magazines under my own name. But, every career has a beginning, and I'm grateful for any opportunity to gain more experience.
