Composer, Songwriter & Musician for: MDLH Productions Bespoke Music Services - for film, media, artists & events

I’m a composer and songwriter, having written for independent short films, plus themes and arrangements for theatrical productions, website, retro computer game. Plus songs, and various themes for production music. And songs for artists too.
(I’m a musician too – playing keyboards, guitar, bass and singing harmonies in function bands, trios & duos.)

Having a good ear, I can play and therefore write in a variety of styles,
In my composition it can go from folk, jazz, classical to pop, rock, RnB, digital, atmospheric soundtrack - or "in the style of".
And in the bands, duos & trios it ranges from classical, folk, ballads, church music to jazz, funk, pop, rock.

I have a purpose-built studio, with a wall of guitars (around 11 plus bass and 2 ukeleles). With 3 keyboards, saxophone, percussion and occasional drumkit. Plus a range of high quality virtual instruments used within Cubase software. And a good collection of mics, mixers, speakers and amps.

I am lucky to have a close broad group of excellent singers and musicians around me to bring in different instruments, textures and styles as required for recordings, voiceovers and gigs.

Work Terms

Hours of operation - I work mainly between 10am and 5.30pm (UK time). But can be flexible - please call to discuss.
Payment terms - 25% up front, the balance on completion of agreed work. Payment by bank transfer, thanks.
Communication style - phone, Skype, email, dropbox files, etc.
