My name is Murtuza Kapadia and have completed my BA Journalism course from the Madras Christian College, Chennai, India.
I have had exposure to various mediums of like print and new media and have undertaken various roles of work in the three years of college in order to expand my reach and understanding of the different media that are available. I have done content development for educational start-up - Thulir, have gained work experience and have published articles during my time in News Today, Chennai.
I have also interned with The Times of India as supplementary copy-editor having published articles during my time there. I had taken up software reviewing during my part-time stint with ilovefreesoftware.com and have also contributed SE Optimized travel articles to www.JustOrbit.com with regard to research about destinations.
I had the opportunity of interning with Triveni Sarees for a period of two months, having taken up the role of creative intern, involving myself in product description, website content creation and editing, newsletter and social media content along with designing for promotional content catering to corporate communication. I was also a regular contributor to Headlines & Global News, writing news stories on a variety of topics.
I have also taken on the role of social media analyst at a digital advertising agency and have experience in social optimization, social profile management and SMM.
