I am a full-stack web engineer for over 8 years now. Throughout my career, I have been focusing on developing with PHP & MySQL/MariaDB although I have dabbled in a few other setups in the past. I was looking for potential opportunities on the LaraJobs job board and found your position. After looking through your job description and reading about your company, I would be a great opportunity I would like the chance to be involved with.
Over the years, I have been developing platforms for a variety of industries. Some platforms I have been involved with are event management systems, custom eCommerce solutions, web-based point of sale with inventory management & product forecasting and more. In my positions, I have communicated with fellow developers, managers, CEOs as well as clients when there were issues or even a new feature to be developed and implemented. Also in the past 5 years, I have worked as a remote software engineer for a variety of companies. I have not contributed to open source projects in the past, but I am working on a simple project to improve my skills and creating custom Laravel packages. But I am looking into getting more involved in the near future to be able to contribute back to the community.
As of today, I have worked with a wide range of technologies or frameworks:
• Laravel Framework v5+ for over 4 years
• VueJS Framework v2 for over 1.5 years
• CodeIgniter v2 worked with it for about 2 years in 2014
• PHP v5+, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery throughout my career.
I have enjoyed in the past is the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of projects. New projects are like a new adventure and opportunity to use the skills I have learned in the past as well as the ability to continue improving my skills and learn something new.
