Having begun as a writer at a very young age, my spare time has always been taken up by writing. Being a Registered Nurse for 30+ years afforded me with various copywriting, marketing and healthcare skills I needed throughout my work career. I raised my 4 children on a Registered Nurses salary (with my husband). I now help private companies to achieve their marketing goals, expand their businesses and rewrite policy and procedure manuals as well as teaching material. Currently I am working on my memoirs, and do freelance writing. I have started a Toastmasters Club in our town to further others skills of communication and leadership over the last year. Creating marketing strategies for smaller companies, writing for marketing materials, and my future book take up part of my retired time, however, I also work in doing crochet, needlework, hand smocking, and sewing for my 10 grand children. I also garden and grow some of my own GMO free, organic vegetables.
Work Terms
