Work Terms

General Work Terms for SL5 Projects:

- Communication: Preferred communication channels are Element/Matrix for direct chat. We strive to respond within 1-2 business days. Clear and timely communication is key to project success. Availability primarily during Central European Time (CET) business hours.
- Project Scope: We believe in clear requirements. Before starting work, we aim to define the project scope, deliverables, and milestones clearly, often documented in the Guru agreement. Changes to the scope may require adjustments to timelines and budget.
- Payment: Payments are typically handled through Guru's SafePay system for security and transparency. For larger projects, milestone-based payments are preferred. Rates are based on the agreed-upon terms (hourly or fixed-price).
- Revisions: For fixed-price projects, a reasonable number of revision rounds (typically 1-2) for delivered work is included to ensure satisfaction, based on the -original- scope. Significant changes or new requests after delivery may be treated as additional work. Hourly projects are billed for all time spent, including revisions.
- Confidentiality: We treat all client information with strict confidentiality and are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) if required.
- Ownership: Upon full and final payment, the client owns the rights to the final, delivered work product specifically created for the project. We may retain rights to use general techniques or reusable code developed during the project unless otherwise agreed.
- Feedback: We appreciate constructive feedback throughout the project to ensure we are aligned with your expectations.
