I am currently working as a freelancer Art Director focusing on communication strategy, brand development, graphic design and multichannel communication.

Art director since 1986, studied at the Arts Institute of Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil.
Working in the advertising area since then, I have worked on agencies as MPM, Escala (http://agenciaescala.com.br), Martins & Andrade, MPM – Lintas, DEZ (http://www.sistemadez.com/site/), Competence and Agência Matriz (www.agenciamatriz.com.br).
I have a broad experience working with retail accounts such as Grupo Zaffari, Lojas Colombo, Telefônica Celular, Vivo, Panvel Farmácias.

At Agência Matriz, I worked for Grupo Zaffari as a team leader of approximately 15 people dedicated exclusively to this client. My main role was to supervise all creative work developed for the client, planning all communication and establishing Zaffari's visual identity of the past four years.
Zaffari is the biggest supermarket chain of the south of Brazil and 7th in the country. It is also recognized as the biggest "lovemark" in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
