Goal is to make an app for viewing 3D stereoscopic images.  This would be used by me at first, but then made available to other stereoscopic photographers. Itcould be web based at first, but would be great to eventually become a stand alone app.

I have been working with a friend who took this pretty far, but he's too busy to complete.

here's the link to what we made: https://stereoview.fly.dev/e/isaben

these are meant to be viewed on an iphone.  when horizontal, it shows the SBS pair, when vertical, just one view.

I have an optical device that fits over the phone that lets the left eye see only the left picture and the right eye only the right and your brain puts them together to see 3D.  The above app does do all of this.

The improvements I need are as follows:

1) The pinch zooming doesn't work correctly.  It correctly separates the left and right window, but it zooms from the center of that window rather than from the left side.

2) i would like to be able to zoom out, making the pair smaller than the default

3) I need to create User security structure above all of this: There are ADMINS (me), who create USERS.  Users can create multiple EVENTS.  the events can have multiple ALBUMS, which can have multiple pictures.

4) Methods for inputing photos: Live dropbox link, as we used here in the Photo Booth album, uploading from desktop or phone, SMB viewing from a local computer.

The code for all of this lives in Github and there is some dropbox app that enables the loading of images from there.

Attached is an example of an SBS (Side-by-side) image.  The left half is taken with a lens about 2" apart from the one used to take the right half.
